The Beginning of the Journey
Our founder, Mary L. Patel, CAC III, opened the doors in 1993 with the goal
of assisting people in our community that have alcohol and drug dependencies.
She knew at that time, treatment needed to be individualized to be effective.
We have for many years used a comprehensive approach to deliver treatment which
addresses all factors of the client's life, thus helping the patient modify their
attitude and behaviors to provide support to a healthy life.
The Journey through Treatment
Effective treatment addresses the multiple needs and all factors of the individual client.
Our behavioral approach helps engage clients in alcohol / drug abuse treatment.
It provides the client with the tools for them to remain abstinent and modify their attitude and behaviors related to alcohol / drug abuse.
The behavioral process is to help clients develop, optimize and increase their life skills to handle stressful circumstances and environmental cues that may trigger intense craving for alcohol and or drugs so to avoid another cycle of compulsive abuse.
